Shipping & Delivery

We provide free shipping on all orders over $150 within continental USA!

Order Confirmation:

You will receive an e-mail to confirm that your order has been placed. At this point your chosen payment method has been pre-authorized for your purchase.

We will confirm with the supplier that your item(s) are in stock and available for shipment. If your item(s) are in stock we will process payment and ship your order within five business days.

If your order is on back-order we will provide an estimated lead time. If you are happy to wait for the item, we will process payment to secure your order and ship your order as soon as it is available. If you do not wish to wait, we will void the pre-authorization and cancel your order.

If your item is out of stock or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. 

Order Shipment & Delivery:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your pre-authorized payment method, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order unless otherwise stated.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at orders@stargazingtelescopes.com. 

Delivery times will vary based on your location and shipping method that our vendors use. Within mainland USA, Economy shipping generally takes five to eight business days to arrive, and Standard shipping takes approximately three to four business days. 

Damages:

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to returns@stargazingtelescopes.com and we will contact the manufacturer on your behalf.

APM: The Shipping & Delivery Policy does not apply for APM as the products are shipped from outside the US. Please note, import duties may apply to some APM products. You will be notified of this additional cost at the time of delivery. Average shipping price is $500, and final price to be confirmed upon order. Barska: Continental USA shipping only, provided by FedEx Ground, UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail. Orders placed before 9AM PST Monday-Friday will ship out the same day. Orders placed after 9AM will ship out the next business day. Tracking numbers are updated daily Monday-Friday by 5pm PST.

DayStar Filters:  The customer must keep in mind that each filter system is manufactured one at a time. Demand and specialized requirements may influence delivery of a particular filter system. Once your custom order has been evaluated, you will be advised of the expected delivery date.

Explore Scientific: Products may be out of stock or on back order due to the impact of COVID. Please email us at orders@stargazingtelescopes.com or call us on 540 253 3466 for inventory and shipping information, and we will get back to you once we have been in touch with the manufacturer.

Levenhuk: Delivery normally takes 4-5 business days. Your order will be shipped the same day if placed before 3 PM EST. Please note that we are unable to ship to APO or FPO addresses.

Lunt: Please note, most Lunt products are made to order and tested thoroughly before being shipped out. We can provide estimated shipping times and availability once we have spoken with the manufacturer. Optiques Fullum: As these are custom-made systems, please email us at orders@stargazingtelescopes.com or call us on 540 253 3466 to discuss your specific requirements and delivery times. The price does not include crating and shipping.

Radian: Depending on your location, items are shipped out in between 1-5 days. If for some reason we are out of stock on an item and that fact was not displayed on our website, we will be in contact with you via phone or e-mail as quickly as possible. We use UPS for most items, and USPS for smaller items. The carrier used is at the manufacturer's discretion.
