Each of our vendors have different warranty protocols for their products. Please see the relevant section below to get more information on the specifics of their warranty policies.
Warranties will not be valid for products that have been misused or tampered with by the customer, and each manufacturer retains the right to inspect the product to determine whether it is covered by their warranty. If an item needs to be repaired or replaced, the customer is responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
Please note, you must have proof of purchase (copy of your receipt) in order for the warranty to be valid.
APM: If the product has been purchased for personal use, the warranty period is 24 months for new products, and 12 months for used products. If the customer is an entrepreneur, the warranty for new goods is 12 months, and APM will decide if they will rectify the defect or deliver a defect-free item.
Barska: Barska’s warranty will cover products after the 21-day return policy expires. Each product will be enclosed with a Warranty Card. The warranty will vary depending on the specific product you have purchased. Should you need to return the item, you will need to contact Stargazing Telescopes in order to obtain a RMA number.
DayStar Filters: Used as directed, your DayStar filter is guaranteed for five or ten years as stated on warranty document included in shipment. Should the filter become inoperative due to optical or mechanical failure, we will repair the filter or replace it with an equivalent filter at no repair cost to the customer.

Levenhuk: All Levenhuk microscopes, telescopes, binoculars and magnifiers have a lifetime warranty; all accessories have a 2-year warranty. This warranty does not cover consumable parts, such as bulbs (incandescent, LED, halogen, energy-saving and other types of bulbs), batteries (rechargeable and non-rechargeable), electrical consumables, etc.
Lunt: Lunt provides a 5-year limited warranty. Please click HERE to register your purchase to activate the warranty. You will require an RGA number if you need to return an item which can be obtained by contacting Stargazing Telescopes.
Vixen: Vixen warranties its products to be free from initial defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period based on part type:
