We also offer the 152mm optics in the CNC-LW II version. For special visual work (e.g. sun, projection) a modification of the back focus is desired, which we can easily carry out. The standard back focus is again 220mm (variable according to customer adaptation and focuser used).
The top-class FeatherTouch 3.5 "from Star Light Instruments is again used as the focuser. The tube is made of aluminum as standard. With our optimization, the weight sinks to just over 13kg, which is considerable for such a look and back-friendly.
LZOS conducts its own glass research / development and also produces these glasses itself. This results in perfect control of every development stage. APM has been a partner for civil optics for decades and can actively participate in the development of optics, which contributes to the optimization and adaptation to the needs of professional and amateur astronomers.
The classic 6 “opening (152mm) with a focal length of 1200mm is very popular and was launched by all well-known optics manufacturers worldwide. APM can deliver the very high quality Triplet SuperED apochromats at short notice and at very attractive prices! There are neither delivery times of several years nor bitchy optical designs that have to cool off for half a night.
The 6 “inch is a great device, both visually and photographically, which can be used universally. The focal ratio of f / 7.9 allows a relatively "slim" optical design with rapid cooling as well as excellent chromatic and spherical correction. The 152mm opening offers 2.5x more area than a 4 "device and around 50% more area than a 5-inch device. Separate the closest binary stars with colored components, break them up into globular clusters and observe the finest planetary details. Photographically you dive deeper into groups of galaxies, high-contrast photography (e.g. with narrowband filters) or larger objects using a reducer are a pleasure.
In addition to the large 3.5 “FeatherTouch focuser, all the important reducing adapters are already integrated in order to conveniently connect both photographic and visual accessories. Pipe rings are standard, as is the finder bracket.

APM:Â If the product has been purchased for personal use, the warranty period is 24 months for new products, and 12 months for used products. If the customer is an entrepreneur, the warranty for new goods is 12 months, and APM will decide if they will rectify the defect or deliver a defect-free item.

Warranties will not be valid for products that have been misused or tampered with by the customer, and each manufacturer retains the right to inspect the product to determine whether it is covered by their warranty. If an item needs to be repaired or replaced, the customer is responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
Please note, you must have proof of purchase (copy of your receipt) in order for the warranty to be valid.

If your order is on back-order we will provide an estimated lead time. If you are happy to wait for the item, we will process payment to secure your order and ship your order as soon as it is available. If you do not wish to wait, we will void the pre-authorization and cancel your order.

Order Shipment & Delivery:

Delivery times will vary based on your location and shipping method that our vendors use. Within mainland USA, Economy shipping generally takes five to eight business days to arrive, and Standard shipping takes approximately three to four business days.Â
Damages:

We aim to make returns as easy as possible at Stargazing Telescopes. You may return your purchase within the allotted time frame that each manufacturer allows.
You will be responsible for the return shipping charges as well as a 20% restocking fee (20% of the price of product).
To request a return please email returns@stargazingtelescopes.com and include your name, order number and date of purchase. We will also require proof of purchase, which is a copy of the receipt.
Returns must be authorized before being sent. We will contact the manufacturer on your behalf and issue you a RMA number which is mandatory for returns.
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- be undamaged and in the original packaging.
Products not eligible for return:
- Products that have been used or tampered with
- Products not in resalable condition
- Custom orders
- Products not in original packaging
- Products that do not have an RMA number
The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and must use the shipping method as specified by Stargazing Telescopes to ensure the item is not damaged in transit and is tracked and sent safely. Refunds will be processed within 14 working days from the point we have received your return.
Before your refund is approved, the manufacturer will inspect and process the items which can take up to seven business days. Return shipping charges and re-stocking fees are non-refundable. Shipping charges and factory re-stocking fees will be deducted from the total refund amount. You will receive a confirmation email when your return has been processed. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method and can take up to 72 hours to reflect on your statement.
Cancellations:
You may cancel your order any time before your item(s) have shipped. If your items are in-stock / back-ordered there is a $20 cancellation fee applicable before your items have shipped.
If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will be responsible for return shipping charges (see Return Policy above for detail). Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method that was used when placing your order.
