An apochromat with an 8 “aperture? - impossible! Such sentences could still be heard in the astro scene until a few years ago. But those days are over, thanks to the APM-LZOS Triplet SuperED series. APM-LZOS is the only manufacturer worldwide that reliably masters the series production of fully apochromatic refractor optics! As a committed amateur or in the field of research and science, we offer you opportunities that were not possible until recently! In the late 1980s and early 1990s the first 8 ”SCT telescopes came to Europe from the USA, a milestone for amateur astronomy. Today, top optics come from Europe. Who would have believed years ago that one can observe today with an 8 “full apochromatic refractor?

The APM-LZOS triplet SuperED Apo 203/1800 CNC LW II can rightly be called a professional telescope! An excellent, superbly powerful, shadow-free optics, universally applicable for planetary observation and photography, solar observation as well as visual and photographic deep-sky work. Almost 80% more area than a 150mm optic collects light and dissolves the closest double stars! The optical performance should correspond to that of a full-blown 11 "-12" SCT. The big advantage: 0% obstruction, 0% loss of contrast!

With an 8 “aperture you can observe BINOCULAR Deep-Sky objects and, with the appropriate seeing, drive the highest magnifications on the moon, sun and planets! The experience with such a device can be described as overwhelming.

This telescope is a jewel in every observatory. Due to the excellent optical imaging performance and the completely editable configuration, this apo is also interesting for institutes, research facilities and observatories. The entire telescope is still relatively easy to move with approx. 31kg and with medium-weight mounts.

This device is the first choice for serious observers! APM can deliver these very high quality triplet SuperED apochromats at relatively short notice and at very attractive prices! There are no delivery times lasting several years!

LZOS conducts its own glass research / development and also produces these glasses itself. This results in perfect control of every development stage. APM has been a partner for civil optics for decades and can actively participate in the development of optics, which contributes to the optimization and adaptation to the needs of professional and amateur astronomers.

In addition to the large 3.5 “FeatherTouch focuser, all the important reducing adapters, sleeves and the viewfinder holder are already integrated in order to conveniently connect both photographic and visual accessories. Multi-compatible pipe clamps are standard, a sturdy transport box is optionally available.

A wonderful high-tech device that can be tailored to your needs!
