Universal Astro: Standard 30 Day Return Policy. Please contact us for an RMA number. You will receive a full refund for unopened or unaltered products. If the product has been opened, a restocking fee will be charged depending on the condition of the product.
We aim to make returns as easy as possible at Stargazing Telescopes. You may return your purchase within the allotted time frame that each manufacturer allows.
You will be responsible for the return shipping charges as well as a 20% restocking fee (20% of the price of product).
To request a return please email email@example.com and include your name, order number and date of purchase. We will also require proof of purchase, which is a copy of the receipt.
Returns must be authorized before being sent. We will contact the manufacturer on your behalf and issue you a RMA number which is mandatory for returns.
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- be undamaged and in the original packaging.
Products not eligible for return:
- Products that have been used or tampered with
- Products not in resalable condition
- Custom orders
- Products not in original packaging
- Products that do not have an RMA number
The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and must use the shipping method as specified by Stargazing Telescopes to ensure the item is not damaged in transit and is tracked and sent safely. Refunds will be processed within 14 working days from the point we have received your return.
Before your refund is approved, the manufacturer will inspect and process the items which can take up to seven business days. Return shipping charges and re-stocking fees are non-refundable. Shipping charges and factory re-stocking fees will be deducted from the total refund amount. You will receive a confirmation email when your return has been processed. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method and can take up to 72 hours to reflect on your statement.
You may cancel your order any time before your item(s) have shipped. If your items are in-stock / back-ordered there is a $20 cancellation fee applicable before your items have shipped.
If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will be responsible for return shipping charges (see Return Policy above for detail). Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method that was used when placing your order.
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when it arrives, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will contact the manufacturer on your behalf.
